Realmark Leederville paves the way for wellbeing in 2022

For many people, their workplace environment has undergone significant changes as a by-product of COVID 19. The lines between home and work have become blurred and people’s traditional ways of working have undergone a shift into a new era.

At Realmark Leederville, we are continuing to build our future work environment embracing digital developments and changing attitudes to help us be proactive in managing our team members health and wellbeing.

Realmark’s Executive Director, Justin Baker said “The property industry has undergone significant changes throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and companies need to adapt and provide support for real estate workers. Constantly navigating the changing environment, regulations and restrictions is a new reality of the world we operate. At Realmark, we want to provide our team with connection and a safe space. We have created a culture of like-minded people to help bring out the best in each other and provide support.”

The Realmark leadership team is proud to have developed the Realmark Wellness Policy kickstarting in January 2022 for their Leederville office. In addition to our teams’ 4 weeks of annual leave, Realmark are offering team members an additional 4 days of Wellness Leave and 1 day of Birthday Leave.

Mr Baker said “We are committed to understanding the health and wellbeing needs of our team members and focusing on the promotion of physical and mental wellness in our workplace and home. We care about our people and want them to be their best at work, home, with our clients and in the broader community.”

With the implementation of the Realmark Wellness Policy for the Leederville office, we are hoping to see the benefits from a healthier and more energised team.

With a strong focus on early intervention, Realmark have engaged MindFit at Work to offer our team members a range of tools, resources and services to assist in managing their physical and mental wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program through MindFit at Work includes a holistic health offering with coaching services around mental wellness, nutrition, sleep and general wellbeing as well as face-to-face, phone and online counselling.
